Chantix Only Helps Those Who Are Dedicated To Quit Smoking
Date: 19th November 2009
Jotham W. Coe, a research fellow at the Pfizer Global Research and Development, reveals that quit smoking with Chantix depends on the patient and to induce smoking cessation successfully, the patient has to show the right kind of attitude. Jotham W. Coe talked during Grand Rounds in front of the faculty and students from the School of Graduate Studies.
According to Jotham W. Coe, the quit smoking success achieved by Chantix is found to be of a considerably higher level and a 12-week-long quit smoking with chantix yields a long lasting quitting rate of around 30 percent. A specific analysis of six clinical experiments that was released in 2008 made it apparent that Chantix regimen was thrice more effective than trying to accelerate smoking cessation without medicines. Janie Heath, the director of MCG smoking cessation clinic, revealed that 130 patients were able to use Chantix in the clinic and among them 104 people were able to quit smoking that leads to a smoking cessation success rate of around 78 percent.
Jotham W. Coe, a research fellow at Pfizer`s Global Research and Development successfully quit smoking even though he was a chain smoker and puffed around 21/22 cigarette packs on a daily basis. This makes it apparent that quit smoking depends on the patient and for successful smoking cessation, the smoker must adopt the right kind of attitude.
Further Dr. Coe revealed that he views quit smoking as the reinstatement of his self-image and behavior. According to him, smoking cessation is achievable if an individual has trust, pride, strength and belief. The self-belief, pride, trust and strength cannot be obtained from a pill and are only achievable with the help of experiences. And it is possible for you to overcome these experiences with the help of chantix.
