Family Members Of Dallas Musician File Cases Against Pfizer Over Chantix Side-Effects

Ken and Judy Albrecht, parents of the favorite Dallas musician Carter Albrecht, have filed a court case against Pfizer Incl., the manufacturer of the quit smoking medicine Chantix, over specific side-effects triggered off by chantix that allegedly facilitated the death of their musician son. However, pertaining to the death of Carter Albrecht, it is known that he was shot dead on 3 rd September, 2007 while knocking at his neighbor's door and further Carter Albrecht's girlfriend Rathbone makes it apparent that her boyfriend was suffering from typical mood swings after using chantix. Carter Albrecht's girlfriend Ryann Rathbone also reveals that under the influence of chantix, the musician had also started to have delusions and attacked her verbally as well as mentally.
Regarding the lawsuit filed by Ken and Judy Albrecht, it is evident that the lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District court for the Northern District of Texas Dallas Division. The Ken and Judy Albrecht-filed lawsuit alleged that with sheer intention, negligence and restlessness, Chantixmaker Pfizer Incl. had put in its best efforts to market, promote and advertise chantix as a safe and effective prescription-based drug. However, the lawsuit also leveled the allegation that the Defendant had adequate reason to known or was not aware that chantix yielded serious injury as well as death and was not a safe medication.
