Date: 24th September 2010
Mike Miller, an ex-solider of the Vietnam War and a retired lieutenant colonel of the Air Force, reportedly got rid of smoking addiction with the help of a quit smoking program which is one among the available smoking cessation programs and these are namely, “Behavioral Tobacco Cessation” program organized by the Mental Health Clinic, Quit Line of the San Antonio Military Medical Center and Behavioral Tobacco Cessation Group of Health and Wellness Center.
Sources make it apparent that Mike Miller got addicted to cigarettes in 1969 and since then he started smoking three packs on a daily basis and when he served in Vietnam, he increased it to four packs on a single day. Finally, he realised the need to quit smoking and then got rid of smoking addiction by attending one of the afore-mentioned quit smoking programs.
With regard to how Mr Miller got rid of smoking addiction, it is known that he participated in four behavioural classes incorporated in the “Behavioral Tobacco Cessation” program and was offered the quit smoking pill Chantix by his physician. However, after administering the anti-smoking pill chantix, Mike Miller obtained adequate relief from the shackles of nicotine addiction without falling prey to unpleasant withdrawal effects.
