Politician from Malaysia Promises To Quit Smoking

Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, a politician from Malaysia, has missed the Umno Annual General Assembly 2013 soon after being admitted to hospital and now he has expressed his desire to quit smoking. Hishammuddin has been undergoing treatment at a private hospital and recovering from an angioplasty process meant for treating coronary artery blockage. The 52 year old Hishammuddin is likely to be discharged from the hospital on Monday. While sipping coffee at the hospital cafeteria, Hishammuddin has mentioned his regret for having to face this situation and promised to stop smoking and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Hishammuddin also reveals his desire to return home and wait for the birth of his first grandchild.
When Hishammuddin spoke about his desire to quit smoking at the cafeteria of the hospital, his sons, Faris, 22, and Fahd, 15 and wife, Datin Seri Tengku Marsila Tengku Abdullah, were with him.
