Saint Anne's Hospital Is Likely To Launch A Quit Smoking Program Soon

In order to assist smoking addicted people in triggering off smoking cessation, Saint Anne's Hospital is prepared to start off with a quit smoking program that is likely to continue for eight weeks. Moreover it is known that this smoking cessation program is designed by American Lung Association and smokers can avail of this program at a cost of $25.
According to Dixie Tavares, a registered nurse of Saint Anne's Hospital responsible for coordinating the quit smoking program, the smoking cessation program is aimed at helping people quit smoking via behavior modification. She adds that once smoking addicted individuals are enrolled in the program certain issues are inquired into as to why they are addicted to smoking and altogether proper care is taken to educate them on handling stress, dieting and exercising.
It has become apparent that young and old alike are enrolled in the quit smoking program scheduled to commence from Tuesday, 8 th January at the Saint Anne's Hospital with the age of participants ranging from 16 years to 70 years.
